Mitsubishi Outlander: Fourth Generation Launching in Europe

The new model maintains the layout from its 2021 international release, featuring subtle changes like 18 and 20-inch wheels, and the signature “Dynamic Shield” grille. Inside, the Outlander offers spacious seating for up to five passengers and advanced technology, including a customizable 12.3-inch digital display and a central 12.3-inch touchscreen with connected infotainment compatible with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Furthermore, Mitsubishi partnered with Yamaha for upgraded sound systems, ranging from 8 to 12 speakers for enhanced audio experiences. Practically, the rear seats split 40/20/40 to adjust cargo space from 495 to 1,422 liters. The plug-in hybrid system combines a four-cylinder gasoline engine with two electric motors, delivering a total of 306 horsepower and an electric-only range of 86 km, while boasting an overall range of 844 km with its 53-liter fuel tank. Though pricing details remain unannounced, estimated monthly lease costs for businesses are between €500 to €700 for a 37-month LLD contract. The new Outlander will come with an 8-year or 160,000 km warranty. Pre-orders are expected to open in November 2024, with production commencing at the Okazaki plant in Japan by the end of 2024.
